Sonita Lontoh is a Silicon Valley Internet of Things (IoT) Executive and currently, Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Siemens, Digital Grid. She has more than 20 years of experience in the technology and smart energy sectors. Her work addresses the intersection of new technology, business models and policy, and how digital transformation and innovation bring real benefits to society.
Sonita has been invited by the White House to speak at President Barack Obama’s Global Entrepreneurship Summit and to attend the AAPI Women Champion of Change celebration. Her work has been recognized by former U.S. Secretaries of States Hillary Clinton and John Kerry. MIT named Sonita one of its Notable Women Alumni and she is an inductee into the National Asian American Hall of Fame. She has also appeared in the World Economic Forum, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, NBC, Reuters, BBC, TIME, Bloomberg and other respected publications.
Sonita is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the University of California, Berkeley.
