Praveen Kathpal serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Energy Storage Association and Vice President of Market Applications at Fluence, a leading energy storage technology and services company formed as a joint venture between Siemens and AES. With 10 years of experience deploying energy storage solutions, Fluence’s team focuses on solving customers’ energy problems, prioritizing lasting partnerships over simply delivering products.
Praveen’s responsibilities at Fluence include accelerating global energy storage market growth, and bringing energy storage to new customers and new applications. He previously served as the head of Global Market Development at AES Energy Storage. Prior to joining AES in 2007, Praveen was a consultant at ICF International. He holds a BA in Economics and a MBA from the University of Virginia.
